Key responsibilities:
Deliver revenue opportunities through:
- Analysis of supplier charges to ensure all revenue is being invoiced in line with customer agreements.
- Completion of manual invoicing routines, including calculation of customer charges to a high degree of accuracy.
- Supplier cost management to ensure accurate costs are incurred with any issues being raised with the supplier.
- Leveraging internal products, such as ‘Validator’, to identify and resolve all anomalies in both cost and sale cash flows.
Provide analytical support through:
- Delivering Month-End reporting on accruals, provisions, and supplementary analysis within agreed timelines.
- Ensuring that all relevant data sources are timely, accurate and complete
- Assisting ad-hoc queries from stakeholders across Sales, Accounts and Financial teams.
Support improvement initiatives through:
- Identifying areas of improvement that will result in increased efficiencies, productivity, controls, customer service and revenue across the business.
- Picking up ad-hoc projects as & when required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
- Previous experience of working within fast-paced Finance environment.
- Analytical with experience in data extraction, manipulation, and presentation.
- Excellent Excel skills with the ability to process large volumes of data efficiently & accurately.
- Good working knowledge of SQL with an understanding of relational databases.
- Present findings & insight to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Able to work off their own initiative.
- Positive attitude & a team player.
- Good problem-solving skills & drive to continuously improve solutions through innovation.
